Hey Hoodoo, do you ban the user name or the IP ? if it's the user name i think they'll be back - unless they have played themselves out. There's another odd user name - end's in strimmer, you can guess the rest. Not sure if it's pukka or not. (his thread is called "overgrown bush). Sounds kind of dodgy to me...

We have the IP's and emails of all of them (some are multiples of the same person). We'll trawel through the info and decide what IP's to ban when the dust settles. We have one BT user, one AOL user and one particularly dim numpty from Reading University who will all be looking at getting their ISP's informed. I would think they'll be looking for new ISP's next week.

Its the same behaviour that makes little kids cry, they want the attention to build up the ego self. They seemingly don’t get enough attention doing positive stuff, so they want to shock people in giving them attention when they do negative stuff. In that way they get a feeling that someone noticed them and they feel they exist.
These are often very weak and insecure people, if they don’t get enough attention with small stuff they are often driven by their "small ego" to go over to heavier things, like small crime etc etc. We can see this pattern even up to the heavy criminals. Its a sign of a sick mind wanting to heal itself by forcing people to recognize them.

Thanks guys for flagging this, I was on early this morning and saw what had happened :( It's a shame, but, it's not the first time it's happened and it's probably not going to be the last.
You're such a fantastic bunch of people, I had PM's from loads of people which just went to show me that you care about this place and you look after it, thanks. The Mods did a sterling job, usually they work away in the background getting rid of all this stuff with hardly anyone noticing, they spend hours keeping bcuk just how we like it, and they don't get a bean, my hat's off to you guys.
So, thanks everyone for getting stuck in :D

A pair of idiots trying to be clever and just managing to be repulsively cretinous. They were spotted very quickly but there weren't many people about so they got a number of posts up before the Mods sorted it out. Hoodoo appeared and shut them down :)
