After a recently poor purchase from a Bushcraft retailer and after voicing my concerns in the "Firecraft" section (I thought it was my technique not the steel), I requested a custom steel from Whittler kev, I'd previously seen a Viking style striker elsewhere and asked if he could make me one similar.
A couple of days later I received an image of the work he'd undertaken for me...

It arrived this morning, and as described, it sparks like a daemon!
