Thought I would have a shot at this as I have never made anything with just a pen knife before. So here goes, http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=19 7&stc=1 This is part of one of those canes you get from the garden centre for tomatoe plants.

http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=19 8&stc=1 I kept a large part solely for grip. And I am using a little multi tool blade from Ronson that my daughter bought me a long time ago from her pocket money. Blade is about 4cm long.

http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=19 9&stc=1 I then cut off the needle to start working a little closer, smoothing down the edges with the mini file thats on the multitool.

http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=20 0&stc=1 The finished item is 3.4cm long flexible but it still manages to pierce thru my uniform :D i know i tested it. http://www.bushcraftuk.com/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=20 1&stc=1

Hope you guys like this, it was fun making it. Hope to make more stuff just as soon as the wife lets me out of the house :^)
