View Full Version : Down-filled hammock underblanket

Does anyone know of a company or someone who makes a down-filled underblanket?

My reason for asking is that, while I like the Snugpak/BCUK version I have, it does take up a vast amount of space in my rucksack - and I am trying to go lighter/be slimmer when I pack for the woods.

Many thanks for any links or contact names!

Yup, UNSPONSORED (a member on these boards) does great underquilts.

I've got an Unsponsored 3/4 length UQ, great bit of kit packs down really small.

I made my own and am happy with the result but swore never again - there also plenty of other swearing but the less said about that the better.

I've seen one of Unsponsored's quilts and can attest to their quality

lol, me too!
I made one I even plucked the feathers myself, just the whole washing the feathers, drying them, etc is just not worth the hassle.
if they are expensive...there's a reason, it's a blummen pain to make! lol

Another recommendation for Unsponsored's workmanship

Can't wait to test it out
