Aclima Merino Wool Base Layer Hood Sweater (http://www.lakelandbushcraft.co.uk/acatalog/Aclima.html#aAM001)

Features:
* 200g Merino wool
* Unique 3-way hood system - can be used as a balaclava, a polo neck or just as a crew neck shirt.
* Thumb loops on cuffs, so no more sleeves pulled up your arms when putting on more layers.

The hood thingy is amazing, it sound like a daft idea but it's really great.

Is that the one with the "hoodie" pocket in front? If so; I have one, and like it a lot. The pocket is ideal for drying socks and such in winter.

Yup, a nice touch that bit.

I picked one up recently from the Midland Game Fair.

Not had chance to wear it out for it's intended purpose yet (hummocking)
But my initial impressions of it are, one of comfort.

Even whilst not in use the hood doesn't get in the way which was my first concern.

One nice thing abut the hood is when worn in a sleeping bag. Feeling a bit cold? On with the hood. Warm? Off with it. No *trying to find where the d*mn thing migrated to this time*.

Belay the above , looks like this model is only made in Black , I was looking at something a little different from the same people.

I can get pretty much everything from Aclima, I'm just starting with a couple of bits whilst I see how it goes. The hood sweater is the only one I'm physically stocking at the mo.
