Very interesting, thanks for posting that.
It's been strange out here in east lothian, i keep expecting to find more mushrooms than i do. Been to loads of woods etc and hardly found anything. Still waiting for the big cep or chanterelle find.
Hundreds of berries and tree fruit though...

Lots of fruit around these parts and loads of mushies. The bumper pollenation would explain me still getting a litt hay fever this late in the year.

I feel the same about west Lothian. I guess they are just not very prevalent around here.

lots of Damsons, Bullace, Apples, Crab Apples near me in Hertfordshire. Lots of 'Penny Bun' mushrooms in the woods too. Yum!
