Hello All,

Long time no see, but I got married 2 months ago and have needed to learn marriagecraft rather than bushcraft at the moment... instead of hunting & cooking rabbits I've now got a pet one. Times change eh?

I found these in the garden this morning near my Rabbit's Run... 2 droppings about 12 inches apart - I've popped a 2 pence piece down for scale

They look a little big for rats and a little small for fox but they stank like fox droppings.

Without being able to see the pics for a size, I'll hazard a guess that it's either Stoat or Weasel - Both similar in appearance to Fox with the twisty ends but smaller and, as you say, it has a musty type smell.

I think that's nailed it, even without seeing the pics.
