Ok long story short, i orderd a small torch that i want to keep on my backpack but the inline quick release clip looks kind of weak so can anyone suggest something stronger :)

Nite Ize "S Biner" are pretty good and come in many sizes. You can get them individually or in a mixed pack.

Screwfix Direct snap hooks (smallest size). £3 (ish) for a pack of 10. Very useful indeed.

Another vote for these, if you do buy some double up your order because they're dead handy.

I have loads of those little Alpkit 'biners.
I used to tack 10 onto every order.
