View Full Version : Reflective guyline on a spool ?
I've bought a couple of 50ft spools of black reflective guy line over the last couple of years. I could do with some more now but I can't for the life of me track any down.
It was only about £7 for the spool, has anybody seen any lately ?
I've seen the stuff 5-star do and also the Exped and MSR pre-cut lengths but I'm after a full spool.

how about this stuff (http://www.globalmilitarysupplies.co. uk/militarysupplies/Reflective-Guy-Line.html)
Was hoping for black really but I've just bookmarked that one just in case
or this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exped-Reflective-Dyneema-Tent-Cord-Guy-Line-15m-rrp-7-/110566917164?pt=LH_DefaultDoma in_3)........
or even this although its yellow (http://www.cleats.co.uk/home/details.asp?id=37)
I spotted those earlier so I've got a couple on the way. I need quite a bit more though and buying it like that is gonna be expensive for what I need. I'll see how I go on with it when it turns up, I've also got some plain 2mm dyneema on its way which might do for part of it.
I really like the look of that last reel, and the tensioners, might save my from my late night trips.
Speak with the folk at Tamarack Rich...they don't stock it, but I'm sure they will get it for you.

Cheers treefrog, all sorted now thanks mate
I was trying to trim a few ounces off my setup so went for some 2mm dyneema with the 3M reflective bits in. It's turned up today so I've been messing with my tarp this aft and changing a few bits.

I've not got around to buying anything from these guys (http://www.fivestarcord.co.uk/index.php?cPath=13&tsl_session_id=a9d39d06ca52af0 70e5153964e1ea35c), but they do have a good range of cords including GID and reflective :)

I got about 50' of yellow line in Tesco's the other day for £1.50, in their camping section at a larger store. Thought I would mention it.

Thanks for the site link, there are some great tutorials on there.
Is there 550 the genuine US issue stuff (or as good as it) or is it another copy. At 8p a metre I thought I would ask if anyone had used it
