this is probably going to sound really daft, but as a non smoker I'm not too up on filling lighters other than a zippo!
should I be using a certain filler nozzle or something? none of the ones on the gas can I have seem to fit :(
has anyone else had this, or am I just losing my mind? :yikes:

Try using just the can nozzle mate, turn both upside down and shake the can before you fill, use short blasts of the gas can. HTH. If it's the same lighter i had then you should be ok.

I do exactly as Andy says too.
It can take a wee bit of practice if you've not done it before.
If it's the same as the one I had I sent it back to where I bought it from :banghead:

Mines is the double burner from Cotswolds.
Used all day every day (I smoke),been totally drowned and thrown about.

Several colours available in-store and I think we've still a discount with them.
Although I don't usually use it for anything under a tenner:o
I like that you have a window to keep a check on how much gas is in it.
I have had trouble with other makes though.
