i recieved this book from amazon today and i've had a read through it.
it's well laid out from the start, and is in a handy size for slipping into a pack. the book begins with equipment and ingredients and suggests ways to carry them safely. the author also shows how to make an oven to fit on a stove.
there are 175 recipies in the book covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a variety of desserts for the sweet toothed amongst us
some of the recipies contained in the book are very american, with ingredients not easily available in the uk but i suspect they could be adapted with little effort.
there are also a good selection of vegetarian recipies in the book for those of us who don't eat meat.

all in all it seems a good book and worth buying as it's fairly cheap. i intend to try out some of the recipies at the weekend, and i'll be taking it with me to wales in july.

Thanks for the review Graham :)

Have you had a chance to try out any of the recipes and does the book have much advice on cooking outdoors alongside the recipes?
