Hi Guys, just surfed on in when i was looking for new kit for an up coming exped to snowdon. I'm from macclesfield, just on the edge of the peak district, so ive spent many a day when i was younger (im only 23 now) in the fields, in macclesfield forest, which is a fantastic place with lots of amazing plants and trees and general messing about in rivers, streams, reservoirs that kinda thing, i first became interested in bushcraft when i joined the Air Training Corps at the age of 13, im still a civi instructor on the local unit today, i dont get out into t'hills enough at all, think i take them for granted living so close oh and i work in an office and discovered the pub accross the way!!!!!

This site is quality and has really fired my imagination for a few weekends away that i am now planning with a few of my boys. think i will be hanging around and chipping in now and again, i dont have the skills as much as some of you guys on here but i no by the time im as old as you lot i migh just be up there

if anyone else is from around my way and fancies meeting up for a mooch about them pm me! And mikey baby that doesnt include you!

remember good times!!! Always (slipped that in for all you top gun fans lol)

It sounds like you get up to some interesting stuff, keep us posted ;)

If you've any questions then just ask away, there's usually someone that knows the answer or can direct you in the right direction.

Have a good one

thanks very much, i try to get up to some interesting stuff...

its usually pretty mad, im toying with the idea of getting a canoe next and doing the cheshire ring, unaided with only basic rations with me, scrounging and getting all i can on the way around, im not sure yet tho, i dont get too many holidays from work which is a bummer!
