Was thinking about going to the above event on the the weekend of 17-18th July. Can anyone recommend a campsite or a good place we can wild camp?

Sorry should have said the Centre is on the North East side of Loch Tay just outside Kenmore.

Always been fascinated by the Crannogs myself KB.

Not sure about camping facilities but I'm sure the crannogs were built as an escape from the Midges - dunno if the archaeobotanists and archaeologists have realised that.

theres always bits to camp by Loch Tay, if you get a chance head a few miles up from the Crannog centre and take a walk up by the Birks of Aberfeldy, some real stunning scenery there, its lovely walk up through a gorge full of spectacular waterfalls, well worth a visit...

P.s make sure you dont drop your car keys when you go onto the crannog, if you do im sure someone will dig them back up for you in the next thousand years.....

I think the Crannog itself has somewhere you can camp if you want. I think Toddy has details
