customized this one this afternoon- needs a little bit more sanding and a few coats of varnish, maybe a bit of stain.

any ideas how to finish it? thinking of putting lanyard holes in.

Once that has been sanded with fine grit sandpaper, that will ook awesome!

Very cool piece as said just sand it up and varnish it put a leather lanyard on it maybe?

I'd oil it rather than varnish - Danish oil is great for this kind of project.

paracord would be fine but a thin leather cord with a nice knot would look better in my opinion - I'll send you a bit if you send me your addy via pm ;)

thanks mate, sounds like the oil would bring out more detail in the wood too. Very kind of you to offer I will take you up on that :)
