Apparently the idea is that in the folded position you have a regular length knife for normal tasks but when the need arises (finishing off a wild boar - hence the pig sticker name) you unfold it and have the extra length required and the added safety of a guard as it's used to stab :cool:

Nice stag scales and a lever lock.

As new ,never sharpened or carried (hardly surprising).

Yep ,it's really only a collectors piece.

I had a friend who went to visit family in the US a few years back and he went hunting wid boar with a .44 revolver.
He said most of the guy's carried old WW2 bayonets that had been sharpened for finishing the pig's.

We need a squeeling pig smilie .
