It's amazing how great the barter system is. A friend of mine needed a historical costume making in a hurry, so I made him some shoes, leg wraps and a kirtle (over shirt). He provided the material.

In return he made me a new addition to my musical instruments.

The first thing I did was make a leather case for it.

This is the same guy who made my bagpipes, and he made them both from yew wood. It sounds so nice too.
