This is my latest Noggin, carved from an ash burl, using the scorp I bought from Eric on here.

Beautiful! You see things like that, but not as nice or interesting, at agricultural shows and such-like for ££unbelievable.

Very tactile looking piece, like said before it just makes you want to pick up a lump of wood and get carving!!!

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments.
Waldganger, the tools I used were knife, scorp, spoonknife and indeed sandpaper. It was then finished with tung oil and took about 12 hours, spread over a couple of weeks to complete.
