hello everyone i want to find a 35 litre pack for a day/2 day kit. i have look at a few including snugpak sleeka 35, bcb 35 and the karrimor sabre 35, but which is the best one and the best one for value? please help
I would go for the karrimor sabre
I've had both snugpak and karrimor, the karrimor is the better constructed and made from better materials.Personally I use a 35 litre LOWE ALPINE sabre, knocks spots of the karrimor for much the same price.

I started out with a Sabre 30 and it's just too small, can't see the extra 5 liters making much difference TBH.
If you have the money to spend on a Sabre 35 I would go for the Sabre 45 then you have the option of extra PLCE side pockets, Cheap space of another 20 Litres. I much prefer to have space around my kit rather than cramming it all in and risk damaging something.
I gave a Snugpak Sleeka 35 to my dad about 10 years ago, he uses it on his bike and does all weather mileage, it's still going strong. not sure about the new sunugpak gear.
That's my opinion anyway, specially if you are on a budget starting out.
I'd give the Sabre 45 some consideration and then at least you've got the option of adding the side pouches.
The new Predator range looks like good gear too.

i have the sabre 45 with the side pouches and use that as my "maximum" kit i want something smaller so i can keep the weight down and use a snugpak rescue pack aswell to keep my essentials in. budget is anything really.
thanks for the replies

In that case Lowe Alpine or Karrimor Sabre 35, And preferably one that has Molle straps on for customizing your carry.

As always, buy right, buy light. Crux, GoLite or other light brands will serve you very well. No need to use a pack that weighs half of it's content.

I agree. I have a Golite Jam that comes in at 40 litres and weighs less than a pound. I did much of the Pennine Way with it and it worked a treat. (Though it is a bit of a luminous green) .
Berghaus Arete, and it comes in black. Not bushcrafty but you want to carry your stuff in it,not on it.
