I wanted to create a comfortable working knife with a big, comfortable handle. I used for this one reindeer horn, stacked leather and red spacers. The leather is impregnated with lineseed oil and some floor wax I dug up.

The blade is a Kankaanpaa Saami measuring approx. 10.5 cm. Uddeholm carbon steel and with a very nice slight convex grind.

I ordered the reindeer and the blade from brisa.fi. Total cost excluding shipping about 15 euro.

The grind on this one could have been a bit better, but It keeps a very good edge. I will probably shape the handle a bit more after some usage and give it a final polish.
