A while ago I picked up a book 'Camping & woodcraft' by Kephart. It's packed with information and ideas for buscraft. For example the shelters range from lean to's through tents to full blown cabins . It might be worth keeping an eye out for as there is alot in it.
A particularly useful section is on the subject of hidden camps and camp security from 'pests' which applies more in Britain than in less densely populated countries.
