thinking ahead....There's only a few Burdock plants each year in my patch so I've never dug any up to try them. Is there anything I can do to encourage more to grow locally? I seem to recall someone, ? Gary, mentioned they grew it in their allotment... any tips?

I was thinking of gathering the seeds in the autumn but this will allow me to get started sooner.

Theyr'e pretty good as well. And thinking laterally, how about cultivating our own ideal hand drills - for practice purposes of course....?

I've grown it for a couple of years now! The advice I was given was to grow it like parsnips! Has worked for me!
