This maybe a stupid question, but if you don't ask you will never know. I'd rather ask a question and look silly than be ignorant.
I saw a pack of these in gooutdoors today and have never herd of them before;it said on the pack for tents and awnings but didn't say what they do!

Stops them getting pregnant. I didn't get any and I have tents and tarps all over the place now!

They keep the guy lines taut, without having to adjust manually.
Its not a stupid question, and there's no reason to feel silly.

Can you use them inside as a buffer between the inner and outer so the inner doesn't get dammaged?
