View Full Version : WANTED: basha
I have a feeling that there maybe a couple of memebers on here who have a spare bash they don't use anymore. In which case you can talk to me and exchange it for money and make SWMBO a bit happy
If I have to buy a new one I wont have any money left over for ::beer:

Try Jasper at Strikeforce ,about £30.00 new IIRC.
Andy,
I may have something that'll suit you. I need to have search first. PM me in a couple of days to remind me if I haven't gotten back to you.
I may be alright. I'd prefer something lighter to the tarp from the market but it's looking like bike camping this summer anyway
either way I'm sure someone will take it

Might be worth considering a poncho for a bike trip.
I was working on a US army poncho this week.
I made up the lines and Prusik Knots and was pretty impressed with it as both a poncho and a shelter.
It's about 1/2 the size of the british army issue basha when packed and still gives plenty of cover when set up.
I was thinking about using it as a light weight summer shelter along with a bivi bag for a little trip im planning.

On a bike trip I have to be inside a tent (or hope to be), the tarp then coverd the bikes (with 2ks worth of bikes it's best to have them coverd).

Blimey... looks like you will need to take off the chain and sleep with it in your hand... I wouldn't go touring with bikes worth that much!
Andy,
pm just about to wing it's way over to your inbox....
