It is designed for a US cot, the four cricket stumps go in the corners and the net goes on top of the rounded ends of the stumps. You'll have to modify it to use with a hammock, but it is a simple enough job.

:lmao:
I spent a few nights under one of those but I have never ever seen the poles before. Didn't get much cot time I guess.

It'll work ok with a poncho shelter or tarp set-up as is, without the poles. Tie one corner to the ridgeline and you can use it sort of like this fellow here...

...yes, isn't that nice. Now you too can be barefoot and grinning like an idiot*.

*Idiocy not guaranteed. Going barefoot is not advised by shoemakers. Ask a doctor if mozzie nets are right for you. You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run. Now ev'ry gambler knows that the secret to survivin', is knowin' what to throw away and knowin' what to keep. Cause ev'ry hand's a winner and ev'ry hand's a loser, and the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep. Death could result from inhaling a mosquito net. Do not inhale or use as a parachute. Trust me on that last one, it's NOT a parachute. :deal:

Dunno, personally I'd just wear a space suit! The only thing more annoying than midgies would be Bonnie Langford, she justifies the need to destroy all gingers at birth!

I think these nets may be a little too course to be midge-proof.
Culicoides impunctatus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highland_midge) , sinister name.

The devil went down to Georgia, he was looking for a soul to steal.
He couln't find one so he invented mosquitos the size of house sparrows.
Fire on the mountain, run boys run.
Mosquito's in the house of the risin' sun.

Name that tune Dave :)
