I have a Kelly Kettle copy called an 'eco trekker' which i bought some years ago quite cheap. I love being able to grill my bacon over the embers while the kettle boils but it is made from aluminium and i would prefer stainless steel. Kelly do a stainless steel kettle but it is 3 pint one which is a little bulky for solo use so I emailed Kelly to ask if they planned to do a 1 pint stainless steel version. I was delighted to receive a reply from Patrick Kelly saying that they are investing in the equipment necessary to produce a 1 pint stainless steel version which should be available this summer.

If you are shopping around for a solo woodburner this would be a good investment.

Thanks for posting this, I'd be interested in seeing the Kelly 1 pint in stainless steel.

I'm having a Guyot stainless steel bottle reconfigured to a volcano stove which holds just under a litre, based on a design I saw posted by Flix.
