I can supply canvas for a project (material from old army camp bed) - the tent might be useful whole to a scout group as a kitchen tent or first aid tent - it's what we use on standing camps in our group.

I might as well come clean ... although it will make my search harder! I had the idea of making a skirt to go around the bottom of my polish poncho tent ... thus making a small bell tent of sorts ... thank you for the offer, but a camp bed will probably not quite be big enough.

There must be a place where old patrol tents go to die!!

Problem is, they can often have a long life, I've a tent or two (cotton) that may well be older than you and still going strong.

We're about to have a kit sortout of our scout kit

If theres and tents / dining shelters with a bit of mould etc we may be able to help

postage would be horrific though - unless you fancy a jolly to north wales?
