hope thats helpful.
Cheers mate!!!! Where did you buy yours? Would like to shop around to try and pick up some cheap ones :naughty:
Do you think we should start a new thread for the next East Anglia meet? :Crazy_071
I'll check the title with Tessa and let you know what it's called,
Yesterday went and had a look at some Ash for bowmaking at the next meetup, there's a few promising pieces in a hedgerow that needs thinning so it's just getting them cut before the sap rises.
I've sent for a copy of the Axminster tools catalogue so I can get a hook knife (they also do a nice drawknife that'll be good for bowmaking and such like).
That old book is:
Millitary engineering part V (miscelanious)
General staff War Office
includes: camps & bivouacs
there are some copies at www.abebooks.co.uk
