Cheers for the heads up Steve.....I've popped a little bid on :-P

If anyone else on here desperately wants it then let me know and I'll leave you too it....I'm not desperate for it and don't want to bid against a community mate who wants it more

Perhaps we could buy this for the group? That would save us all bidding against eachother. I suspect this one will go for far more than a fiver, it's still got 6 days to go.+++++++

Mick....it's at £5.50 now...you still want it or shall I pop another bid on?

I only want it to add to my growing library of bushcraft books....as I said I'm not desperate and won't bid over about £10 - £15 anyway.... let me know Mate and until then I'll leave whomever is winning it now :o):

Sorry Bruce, I added that link after the post was made.

By the way, I'm now the high bidder :o):

I see another copy has now become available, from a US source:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=378&item=4529098642&rd=1&ssPageName=WD2V

I'm pretty sure I already have a copy, but I'll have to check at home, as I can't remember what the cover looks like! :)

Well with the dollar to pound exchange rate that book could end up as a real bargain!

He's probably looked on Amazon and seen that it goes for £100 and is after turning a tidy profit. Go fer it Martin !! :biggthump

I'd have a go myself, but seeing as it's your high bid I'll wait fer the next one. Good luck !!

*edit

I've had a bid on the 2nd one :-)

Allow me to say it for you;
"I paid HOW MUCH" :yikes:

I thought I was going to get sniped last night. SJLIGHT bid 5 pence under my maximum bid with a couple of hours to go. So I'd given it up as a lost cause and went and found a copy on Abebooks.com for $15.
Typical, I was hoping not to win it and look what happens !!!

It looks like I'll be the proud owner of two copies soon.
That's it, I'm staying away from Evil-bay from now on. If anyone sees me bid on anything, you have my permission to :slap: me !!

Cheers,

Martin

OK mate. which one do you want? the £30 one or the $15 one? :naughty:
Hopefully they'll both live up to their descriptions, as they're both meant to be decent first editions.

Cheers,

Martin
