Started a spoon

got some whittling knives from rutlands today so i figured i'd hae a crack at a spoon.
used my SFA to rough it out then did the rest with the knives in the picture.
just waiting on a couple of duncan's spoon knies to do the bowl then i'll be sorted :D

nice, what wood and was it green or seasoned?

looks like ash to me. its a bit hard so dont leave it too long before making the bowl.

i think its ash its wrapped up in plastic so hopefully it won't dry out too much
