View Full Version : A useful shop
I went into a shop that has nothing to do with bushcaft yesterday, only to find loads of really useful things that you could take on trips with you. Little plastic bottles with different caps (useful for washing up liquid...thank you for that one Uncle Jon), little boxed sewing kits, little boxed multi-tools, empty wee plastic boxes, just really helpful containers.
The shop is MUJI. Not somewhere I'd expect to find useful camping stuff!
Check it out.

How? :?:
If you're expecting technical wizardry from this old gal, you aspire too high. I couldn't attach a link to a post not even if a large herd of gallamping wildebeasties threatened to trample all over my potentially little broken body if I didn't!!
I prefer the old fashioned way...go to a shopping centre and see if there's a MUJI there, and then go inside and havE a look around. :-)

Steady Kim.....I take it you haven't seen my "useful" trainspotting post on the Vildmark site then! :rolmao: :o): :rolmao:
Nice one Kim, Muji's a good recommend.
You can buy on line (for the shopping challenged amongst us -----come on guys, it's just hunter gathering for the 21st century! )

I love their papers, and the little odds and ends are really good quality. They sell a little bottle re-fill kit for about 95p with a scoop, a mini funnel and a plastic pipette, amazingly useful.

There is one in Dublin too just opposite the Greatoutdoors of Grafton Street. It's that big but some nice little bits and bobs.

also worth checking out the kitchen spoils shop in jervis centre. all sorts to be found in there that can come in handy when out and about.

Thanks for that tip Fiacha and Welcome to the caompfire
Nice to have another member from south of the border.
James
Could you direct me to the nearest shopping centre that might have a MUJI store? I live between Zeeland and Grand Haven, not all that far from Lake Michigan. :-)

I'm having second thoughts about this. Might try the Dollar General Store here first. :-)
