I was looking for a half decent site for winter tree identification
(i know there's books out there).

Couldn't really find much,
But came across this site:

"What Tree Is It?" (http://www.oplin.lib.oh.us/products/tree/)

I'd be the first to admit it seems a bit kiddy, but it seems to have good info and a nice way of identifying based on leaf or fruit.

Great link!

Keep an eye out on your local National Trust sites.
This January near me, they are doing an afternoons talk and walk through some grounds, about winter tree identification.

Good one Sargey!

Helps if you know the latin name for whatever you're looking for but the photo illustrations are very good.
