Sorry for the misleading topic title. I couldn't resist. I think this is the right forum.

One bushcraft skill I'd like to learn is how to construct a simple chair for use over a cat hole toilet. I'm content to sit zazen over my cat hole, but the missus longs for more comfort.

With all the edged tools I have, surely there's something I could construct in camp for her?

Does anyone have a favorite design?

Dig it under a forked branch and sit on that :biggthump It's tricky to avoid the roots though

An a frame on legs would probably work. Pioneer a triangle from three smooth sticks and then lash it on to legs. Thats what I would do

well have u ever made a tripod hessian sack chair cos if u have to make a loo just make a tripod like you would for a hessian chair
then lash a cross member on to said tripod instead of using hessian sack to hold it then sit in the triagle u have made with bum hanging over cross member
