I ordered a Skookum Bush Tool back in March 2008 and have had word that Rod will be starting my order in a batch soon to be hopefully finished around the end of December this year.

Really looking forward to getting hold of this and one upgrade I would very much like is a double dangle leather open top sheath as close to the design Fallkniven S1 sheath I used to own.

So I would like to commision a talented maker the job. I will be putting a lot of trust in the Maker as I will happily send my SBT for the fitting of the sheath.

recommendations please for anyone who has a bit of spare time after the new year.

I have one comming around the same time! ( A2,tan micarta-you?)
I like the sheath, but I know some don't! Rapidboy would be my first choice, although
we are spoilt for talented leather workers on this site!!
Good luck.
Chris.

Love the knife, but you definitely don't want the sheath in the pictures http://www.skookumbushtool.com/ - is it just me or does that look like a leather prophylaptic?

Scruff makes good sheaths, as does Dougster.

It might be worth starting another thread with "maker wanted for" in the title. It's worked for me a few times.

Other than that I'd recommend Jojo, Dougster or Topknot from experience.

Either Topknot or singeblister ( john Millington) for leather products.
I have kit from both and they are all top of the range bits.

ordered in 01 with canvas micarta black handle with two holes.
I don't mind the standard sheath just like the option of DD round my waist.
