Anyone know anything about these (http://www.surplusandadventure.com/ishop/800/shopscr2939.html) ? cotton, polycotton?
They also have nice looking wool scarves and gloves in stock.

They are old army war stock shirts made I believe of cotton and are like string vests, I cant vouch for their warmth though as I have one worn one once a long time ago.

Thatīs an old shirt, I think they are made around WW2. The wool scarfs are really great especially if you can get one with a hole in one end. This is also one of my favourites from the swedish army, itīs been around since the 60`s and are still issued to soldiers during the winter. http://www.surplusandadventure.com/ishop/800/shopscr2944.html

If you can find a m59 shirt they are excellent for the warm summer months.

So you can loop one end in the other without the trouble of looping it yourself.

Best wishes

What's the advantage of the hole in the scarve....

Out the hole over your head and then wrap the rest of the scarf around your head and your whole head will be warm and prtected from the cold.
