What's the best way to prepare linen for spark catching? I've just finished a set of C16th chemises and have loads of scraps. What is the optimal size, too.

D'you think it'd work with fungi inside the pipe/polish tin too?

Should work a treat - the nice thing about smaller batches is that it takes a lot less time and you can experiment more.
