the buachaille ,had a very hairy experience on it many years ago winter walking.i always get excited when i first get a glimpse of it coming to Glen Coe.

Spot on - been regarded as the most photographed mountain in Britain, this mass of mountain holds several summits and can be a very tricky one, especially in the winter, the view in this picture will be showing the Stob Dearg summit area (Grid Ref: NN 222 542) from a North, North/Easterly direction, a classic landmark if walking the west Highland way.

It guards the pass of Glencoe on A82 close to the Kingshouse Hotel.
