this has probably been asked before, but as the search function is kaput so here goes.
lots of people rate the quality and build of an alan wood custom knife. i want to commission alan wood to make me a bushcraft knife sometime next year (finances permitting) but how am i supposed to contact him!
i have searched by google for contact details and or a website and have come up with nothing.
are his contact details a closely guarded secret where one has to go through an initiation ceremony to obtain them?

And isn't there a few years wait for a knife?

Plenty of time to save up in that case :) Though he does put the occasional blade up for sale on BB but you've got to be damn quick to snap one up

so i've seen lol
the knife i have in mind would be a woodlore but handled with bubinga wood like my eka w11.
i'm hoping that he's not tied into only making that style knife for woodlore as a ten year wait is taking the mick!

i bet he has got tired of doing woodores, apparently the finish on the some newer models is somewhat lacking. imagine waking up and doing the same knife again and again for 10 years, i think the bloke needs a break.

I agree with you! It does not take me that long to get bored making the same things over and over again! As they say, variety is the spice of life... must apply to knife makers to!
