This was my second knife. Made from a reciprocating hack saw (donkey saw) blade. Too whippy but returns to shape (dosen't retain the bend). Holds an edge and makes feather sticks OK

Not the prettiest I've seen but if it functions well enough to make feather sticks, then you have a tool of purpose and it will serve you well. On the next one you could try and put some wooden handles as the paracord will probably work itself loose.

Like this one!
This is number 4. Same 4mm file with a 3/4 tang (includes 3rd brass pin)
I was going to give this in the bran tub but decided to keep it as I'm quite proud of this one.

Yep. Thats a good'un. Looks like a greenriver knife. There are benefits from having some flex in a blade too.
A proper bushie should be good for all tasks including food prep and that looks like it will make a good slicer. My Mora No1 has a bit of flex in the blade and if its good enough for Mors Konchanski, it will do for me.
I try to ensure each knife I make is better than the last one. Yours are certainly improving.
