I have a fair bit of spare reindeerskin lying around, and I'm in need of a warm hat - so two and two together. Does anybody know any good patterns for me to sew myself a reindeerskin hat?
This is a good idea. I am hoping to make a hat from rabbit skins but dont have a pattern so....

How about buying a cheap fleece scull cap (bobble hat) and use that as a liner and a pattern you can get nice thin ones you can also use it to strengthen the rabbit skins by sewing them to it? just an idea :?:
Just make a Davy Crockett hat - sew a circular band around the head and then sew a round top onto it - easy. Although a bunnys fluffy white tail is no match for a raccoons!
