,,,,,,the patches and steel last night!!! That strop works great on my Barkie knives, and a famntasic job on the CS Bushman series knives too. Wicked edges!!!!!! :o\\:

The real test as to whether it will take over the starkie will be at ashdown :wink:. It is perfect for convexes.

Cold Styeel Bushmans (http://www.coldsteel.com/fixed-blades-bushman.html) are the best "cheap range knives" on the market. Their only negative is that the sheaths stink. So when you get one, also get a kydex sheath from Eric Noeldechen (http://www.mnsi.net/~nbtnoel/) . :biggthump
They look good. How does the handle feel in the hand? Looks thin to me? But thats just me!

Blade thickness is just a bit more than most scandi's on the market, edges are far superior(if that is possible). Also the metal handle is rolled so it is hollow. And you ca jam fit a Survival kit (http://www.angelfire.com/il3/bobsplace/Bushmankit) , and keep it for a backup! :biggthump
