Has anyone got any info on what to take food wise for a canoe trip?

I just take the same as for any trip - the canoe can carry loads of stuff, more than any backpacking trip!

Space and capacity allow a large freezer box so dry cured bacon, eggs, butter, lard and other fresh meats which last with ice five days plus!

Canoeing allows you to take more cooking gear like a reflector oven or even a dutch oven. So you can add baked items to your menu, including baked deserts. This assumes you don't have lengthy portages. :)
