Hi,

I started posting on Britishblades not too long ago and followed the link here. I've posted on the Bladeforums wilderness survival board for a long time now. I use the same handle everywhere, Pict.

I normally live in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I''ve been back home in Pennsylvania since December 2003. We are getting set to return to Brasil on Jan 12th so I'm in the midst of packing right now.

I like lurking on non-american boards for the broad base of experience that shows up. I really like to see how other poeple solve the common problems of the wilderness.

I wish I could find such a board in Portuguese (I'm fluent). I happen to be the only person in Brazil that I know who is crazy enough to do this stuff. The only brazilains I have met who are intrested in wilderness survival are in the military and do their training in connection to their military service.

I have travelled all over North and South America from Akaska to Quebec, California to Florida and all points between. I have also visited Panama, Bolivia, Venezuela, Paraguay, Chile, and Brazil where I own a home. Unfortunately I have never been out of the Americas. Mac
