Nature Bound 6 man Teepee- Heads up and thoughts

Hi all.

A local outdoors shop, Craigdon Mountain Sports is currently selling a 6 person TeePee for £69.99, reduced from £170.99.

Now, this sounds like a very good deal, but I am in a bit of a dilema- I already have a Bison Telt Lavvu 6 man, but as it is polycotton, it weighs a ton.

I wonder if anyone has any experience of this tent, or manufacturer (Nature Bound)- specifically, build quality and weight.

Craigdon sell online and via ebay as well, so if your interested, have a wee google (other search engines are available!)

They look exactly the same as the Argos tipis that were a hot topic on here a while ago.
I got one one of the 12 person ones, which leaked all the way around the mid height seam (despite being taped), before blowing away whilst securely pegged down.

I've got a couple of their folding sit mats but I don't think I'd buy the teepee if it is the one that Argos were selling. A pal of mine got one and took it back after one night out with similar symptons to Michaels. I think you get what you pay for when it comes to quality outdoor gear.
Have you looked at the Bison Tinde ?

I just remembered Nordic Outdoor are doing some good deal on Tentipis at the moment, the Kvarts 7 is £414.

Cheers folks. Will stay clear I think and save the dosh.... SWMBO thinks I would be better spending my cash on a nice wee one man tent that will last... I suggested the Akto and she didn't say no!!.. we already have the Lavvu and we have a large family tent (three rooms type affair) bought of a mate after one use, so I guess we have plenty of options for family camping... very thoughtful of her to think of me... or is it she just dislikes camping?! lmao.
