sloe wine

despite the weather I managed to pick a large bag of sloes whilst out walking the dog this evening, They are now washed and are at the moment sat in a bucket of hot water waiting for it to cool down enough to get my hands into to mush them up, starter bottle of yeast is on the go so before I go to bed tonight it should be all mixed up in the bucket with a couple of pounds of sugar.
There's loads more sloes along the hedge, so sloe jelly could be on the cooker this week end
