Id like to get started with scrimshaw, I only want to make some inlays, so I probably need antler. Im not sure where to go to get them though, or which peice is the best cut, most of the suppliers online are American.
I know a few people here have dabbled in scrimshaw, so Id be interested in learning any tips.
cheers

Pet supplies shops sell big bleached white and pristine clean bones for a couple of pounds. These are ideal for making all kinds of bonework.
Might be worth a look ?
