Spain Way Hey!

Hiya,

We're off to sunny sunny Catelonia for a wee spot of hammocking and mooching about. We don't have a fixed plan, but will be flying into Gerona tomorrow, taking the bus to some wooded hills, then the sea and ending up in Barcelona.

We'll be using a Trangia but are not sure what the Spanish (or Catalan) term is for meths. Babel Fish gives us "alcohol desnaturalizado" which doesn't exactly trip off the tongue and we don't otherwise have a clue. Any ideas? Also, is it available from supermarkets - as it is elsewhere on the continent?

Finally, any suggestions for some not-to-be-missed places?

I know it´s to late but here in SPAIN you can find ALCOHOL DE QUEMAR in supermarkets this is what I use ;-)
