A good friend of mine has just moved over to the Isle of Man and I am thinking it might provide a nice change of scene for our next camping trip.

Just wondering if anyone on here has any experience over there and could maybe recommend somewhere for preferably a bit of wild camping / bushcraft?

Thanks in advance!

I am in exile here on the island and wild place are few.
There are designated camp sites, tame and no fires alowed.
There are however plantations and lots of areas, valeys and the like between forrestry blocks that look quite good for secluded camping and you certainly wont be bothered by bussy boddies.
Also good I add for the well hidden and carefully controlled camp fire.
