Had something similar in France from a butchers, I thought it was a normal pork pie when I bought it but I still scoffed it.

My Gran's daily diet consists of lots of tea, a potato and a couple of slices of Tulip brand spammy meat from a tin. It can't be that bad for you, shes 92.
