Hopeless!

Dad found a bee swarm in his garden, setttled in an old box.

I congratulated him on his good luck, and advised getting a hive for them.

But he wanted rid of them; I contacted the beekeeper who supplies my wax, and he rehomed them. (and the honey they had made...)

What a shame Im away this year...Id have had them myself!

Ask the bee-keeper to keep them in trust for your return. Failing that, maybe he will repay you with a swarm he happens across when you are settled back at home.
