Afternoon all,

Got my SF75 over the weekend, that is a serious bag! Love it though and the only thing is I might be a bit big for what I intended.

Originally I was going to use a Web-Tex PLCE medic pouch to carry all my camp stuff, SAK, Collins Gems books, wash kit, cap kitchen (oil, ketchup etc), yadda yadda etc....
http://www.thearmystore.co.uk/acatalog/webtex_medic_pouch_thumb.jpg

This had the advantage of being a bag to carry around the camp site whilst leaving my main bag in the tent/under the tarp.

Trouble is the pouch is MASSIVE! On its own it looks fine, but unless I have a full 75 litres in the main bag, this pouch off sets the weight and, well its not ideal. Once of the main reasons for the SF 75 was it can be compressed very flat to your back, the pouch sort of stops this.

So question time....

Are there any alternative to the mother pouch that is the PLCE side pouches (basicall I want the same but smaller)
Could I use this instead (will it attach to the SF75??) - http://britkitdirect.co.uk/products/webbing_plce_trauma_pouch_dpm. html
What do people use for compartmentalisation in their bags, especially whem you dont plan on using the full litrage
Thought and comments on how to better organise my bag and my campsite with compartments, and or baggies.

Thanks in advance for you help/ideas/time/etc.

hmm.. don't carry so much stuf!:D

i usually put all the small fiddly stuff into the lid pockets of my Bergen (british PLCE) or put it into small drawstring bags in the main compartment.

interesting usage of the word compartmentalisation btw lol. the only other time iv heard it is Compartmentalisation Of Decay In Trees, CODIT.

You know the deal...

Mates/Missus says "Lets go camping"....

So we go, but what they mean is, "I want to come camping, so make sure I have everything I need, oh and don't forget stuff for yourself as well"

To be honest I agree, I remember tell you this at the pub. I was/still try to be an Ultralight camper/hiker. Just have to many toys at the moment!
